A ceremony inclusion is completely optional and can be a really fun way to include your guests! These can include;
Pretty obvi- but all the guests could receive a shot full of your fave alcohol or drink and well, we do a shot on your behalf! Or just your wedding party can do a shot. This could be included just after your pronounced married before the signing or even at the end of the ceremony before you walk down the aisle? Or at the start! Whatever you want!

Ask your guests to cheer and show their support to you all for an epic night! This can be super fun and I can ask them to; ‘If you agree to make tonight a great memory, drink up, eat more, and party later on the dance floor, please give me your loudest “Hell/Fuck/Oh Yeah!”
Or more sentimental...
“I ask all of you; will you continue to support and encourage ….. and …. in their relationship with your love and friendship, please say … we will!“
Before the guests arrive, I hide the rings (either in one or 2 boxes) under 1-2 random chairs. When it’s time to exchange the rings, I will announce that the rings are hidden and ask everyone to check under their seats! Then those lucky people come forward as ring bearers.
Fun fact- your witnesses can be ANY of your guests! As long as they are over the age of 18 and understand English! So why not throw a spanner in tradition and draw the names of your witnesses during the ceremony? We can totally rig it and just give me the names of who you really want or give me the names of everyone who is invited and let’s see how it goes! You gotta be in it to win it after all!
Did you know that ANYONE can pronounce you married? Much like ‘witness lotto’, give me the names of every guest and I will put them in a hat, bag, basket and then at the end of the ceremony, I will announce the lotto and the lucky winner! We can pull the name out (you can totally rig it) of a hat, bag, basket or even place something meaningful to you under the chair and whoever is sitting on that chair is the lucky winner! We can workshop the wording you would like to be said e.g.The Newest Newlyweds, The legendary couple etc.
Or get all your guests to pronounce you married! I will explain to the guests that they are all in charge of pronouncing you married, so after a little practise, the guests repeat after me before you walk down the aisle.
Ask several of your guests to read one line each of a reading you've chosen, rather than having just one or two people present the reading. Does not have to be religious by any means. Could be a poem, a verse from your fave song or even lines from a movie!
Each of the guests are asked to bring a token or note for the capsule. They are collected prior to the ceremony and the capsule is sealed during the ceremony. To be opened on a significant wedding anniversary!

-A round of ‘Paper, Scissors, Rock’
-Toss a coin
-Get the Crowd to choose
-Play a game (Connect 4, a round of Uno/Snap)
-Ask Nanna
-See who your furbaby comes too first
-Pull names out of a hat
-Wedding party to vote (must be organised by celebrant before the ceremony)
-Have a shot (one is vodka, one is water and whoever has either reads first)
-Leave it to me to decide/ surprise you!
Having a child-free wedding or don’t have anyone with kids you can ask to be flower girl & Ring bearer? Well, why not ask one of your fave friends to be the adult flower person & ring bearer? Better yet, ask you grandparents! How cute will that be? Or even ask you funniest friend to be the Beer dude and give out some drinks (please check with venue if allowed) before the ceremony really kicks off! Furbaby ring bearer is just that!
This is a great way to introduce/thank those important people standing up with you! Tell me some tidbits about them (mix of sweet & incriminating of course) and I will write a little something about them! I will often present it like a gameshow host would... For example,
“She’s X’s best friend, the one who pees in carparks on a night out and has freakishly long toes... It’s Bec everyone!” A great ice breaker for the start of the ceremony!
